Tonie Auer is an award-winning writer with more than 30 years of experience in news and B2B reporting and media relations. She’s covered commercial real estate, construction, luxury residential real estate, healthcare, education, the legal system and more.

Her career started in daily newspapers before jumping to B2B writing, where she wrote for multiple regional and national publications including the Wall Street Journal’s custom publications division. She worked on the PR teams for the University of North Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport before launching the Dallas-Fort Worth edition of Bisnow, an all-digital commercial real estate pub. She also created the media relations role for a highly successful boutique CRE firm.

Tonie’s philosophy centers around building relationships and conducting herself with integrity and authenticity. The Fort Worth native is a Baylor University alum, wife and mother of three. She enjoys digging in her gardens, playing with her half-corgi and watching the latest sci-fi shows. She volunteers with Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue and the Texas Tech Parents Association.
