Sunwest Spotlight: Emily Gray

A native Idahoan who now lives in San Antonio, Emily Gray is always up for an adventure. She’s often (okay – perhaps always) accompanied by her golden retriever, Po, who has been known to pop in on Zoom meetings.

What is the one food you cannot resist?
Living in San Antonio, it’s impossible to resist this city’s chips/salsa/guacamole combos! The best can be found at El Mirasol (along with a chispa marg). As a native Idahoan? Potatoes!

What’s your least favorite chore?
Anything dishes… unloading/loading the dishwasher, handwashing anything. Can’t they just clean themselves? photo of dog in front of chair and Christmas tree

What three traits define you?
Organized, loyal, witty.

What’s the last book you read?
In the last few months, I’ve finished Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr, Bring Up The Bodies by Hilary Mantel, and Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt.

What does a weekday in your life look like?
My husband is a surgical resident, so the Gray Household gets up eaarrrllly! Usually I make coffee & sit in the backyard with my dog, Po, for a bit before I start the work day. I have a great home office and when my day is done, I usually try to work out or take Po on a walk!
