Michelle Buckalew is a strategic communications leader with extensive experience guiding global brands through highly regulated industries. As a Vice President at Sunwest, she leads the financial services vertical, specializing in corporate communications, media relations, and crisis management.

Prior to joining Sunwest, Michelle led global communications for a prominent fintech provider and served as a Vice President for a global PR agency, where she partnered closely with major energy clients. Her strategic approach is shaped by her background in journalism, having spent years as an award-winning television news executive producer in Dallas and Austin.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
