An accomplished executive highly regarded for setting strategy, Jen LeBlanc serves as the Vice President of Reputation & Marketing at Sunwest. With more than two decades of leadership experience, Jen has made her mark in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Recruited to help facilitate a $31 million capital campaign and rebrand a 130-year-old parish, Jen led, harnessed, and created synergy between the four departments charged with supporting the second largest Episcopal church in North America: finance, operations, development, and marketing. Along with the Rector, she set overall direction, vision, and goals for the local, regional, and global Church. During her tenure, she launched several impactful programs, increased planned giving, doubled the operating revenue, established a homeless teen drop-in center, and developed a leadership program for recent college graduates.
Prior to her role as COO, Jen spent 12 successful years at D Magazine, where she served as Publisher. In this capacity, she managed a portfolio of 10 magazine titles and their respective digital and mobile strategies, masterminding revenue and marketing programs across the company. She transformed D into an affinity brand regionally, increased the customer base, doubled online traffic year over year, surpassed all revenue goals, and participated in several acquisition opportunities. Her work resulted in numerous awards, including Best City Magazine in America.
Earlier in her career, she led the marketing and communications efforts at Communities Foundation of Texas and at Belo Interactive, where she launched one of the country’s first community portals, offering North Texas nonprofits a platform for promotion, fundraising, and volunteer recruitment.
Jen is a storyteller at heart, using narratives to connect, influence, resonate, and activate with data to validate. She is a creative thinker who champions innovative solutions to elevate organizational performance, deliver promotional campaigns that gain public interest and raise brand visibility, and leverage partnerships and resources resulting in revenue generation and growth in market share.
