Senior Account Executives are leaders on Sunwest’s account teams. This position nurtures existing client relationships by continuing to perform the duties and responsibilities of an Account Executive plus daily client management.
Responsibilities
Liaise with client(s) on a daily basis keeping an open line of communication and timely correspondence
- Draft, edit, review, distribute, press and marketing materials on behalf of client(s)
- Develop and maintain media and social influencer lists
- Develop and maintain open communications with media and influencers
- Handle media and influencer inquiries, secure interviews and provide prep materials for clients
- Create and maintain events/awards/speaking engagement calendars for clients
- Create and/or provide feedback on project recommendations and timelines
- Track and generate media, influencer and clip reports
- Prepare account service-related documents such as meeting agendas and meeting reports
- Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls

- High competency level on computer and software (such as Cision) compatible with job responsibilities
- Professional demeanor within and outside office while conducting agency business

- Develop and maintain a working-level understanding of assigned clients’ industries, company culture, products/services and strategic communications plan
- Communicate with clients in a professional, efficient manner

- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities to address client issues
Education
Sunwest Senior Account Executives will hold a degree in public relations, marketing, communications or journalism and 3-5 years of relevant work experience, agency or corporate. Communications expertise, outstanding time management skills, and a passion for public relations are essential to succeed in this position.
