OBJECTIVE
The M5M Foundation tasked Sunwest with designing and producing intricate and interactive invitations for their first-ever M5M Foundation Gala. Consisting of several elements, the invitations had to strike a balance between the formal feel of the event and the hope and light they hope to spread through their mission of providing nutrition to children across the globe.
APPROACH
After meeting with the client to fully understand the vision they had for the invitation and the overall event, the Sunwest team built a design concept around the natural aesthetic of craft paper with pops of color and touching photos from M5M’s trips to serve children in Guatemala. This theme was incorporated into all aspects of the invitation, including the sponsorship level card, brochure and USB card, which were all packaged nicely in a high-quality box tied with bright, colorful raffia and a custom tag. Adding to the uniqueness and complexity of the project, Sunwest also redesigned the invitation in three languages and distributed them to five countries.
results
The final product was an informative and charming invitation box filled with thoughtful pieces that engaged invitees on multiple levels and communicated the mission, values and character of The M5M Foundation. From the craft paper box to the colorful accents to the custom invitation materials, these detailed invitations conveyed the message of hope and light that M5M had strived for.
