Wren Ovard
Senior Counsel
Wren Ovard’s career has spanned numerous industries including corporate media, corporate strategy, professional and collegiate athletics and national sales. She is a stalwart of the Collin and Denton counties business world. In 2022, Wren launched Li’l Birdie Consulting advising clients in business strategy, business planning, brand awareness, expansion and development strategy and civic and philanthropic engagement. She has over 25 years of experience varying from sales and business planning to corporate and public relations including strong tenets in marketing.
In her role with Sunwest, Wren focuses on business development in Collin and Denton counties as well as project development and implementation.
Wren has a lifelong love for community service and civic engagement. In her 20 years in Frisco, she has been an instrumental volunteer with Frisco Women’s League, Frisco Education Foundation, Frisco Family Services, and Frisco Fastpacs. She is a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class 13 and currently serves on the Advisory Council. She served the City of Frisco as a seven-year Board Member of the Frisco Community Development Corporation and was President four of those years.
Due to her love for sports, Wren sits on the Executive Board for the Frisco Bowl, was Divisional Chair for the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, and has assisted with the Ascendant/VOA LPGA tournament. She is also the 3-time Chair for the Volunteers of America Women in Play luncheon.
Wren is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and is a proud Longhorn.
