Glenn Hunter, Former Editor, DCEO
Glenn Hunter is an award-winning freelance journalist and writer focusing on business, politics, philanthropy, and the arts. From 2007 to 2018, Hunter was editor of D CEO, D magazine’s monthly business publication. Under his leadership, D CEO was named the country’s best regional business magazine five times by the Alliance of Area Business Publishers. The publication also received five Best in Business awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers—including two for General Excellence—and was named the best magazine in its category by the City and Regional Magazine Association. From 1999 to 2007, Hunter was editor of American City Business Journals’ Dallas Business Journal, a weekly newspaper whose editorial staff grew during his tenure to 18 people. Before moving to Dallas in 1997, Hunter edited or reported for publications in California, Missouri, and New Mexico. Born and reared in Santa Barbara, Calif., he has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Arizona State University. He is married to Dallas native Jeanne Prejean, who also is a journalist.
Jeff Schnick, Editor-in-Chief, Dallas Business Journal
Named to his current role in 2015, Jeff directs the editorial operations for the DBJ. His main responsibilities include content quality control, recruiting and talent retention, along with developing new editorial products and engagement strategies. Previously, Jeff was the managing editor at the DBJ. Before that, he spent nearly seven years with the Dallas Morning News as an assistant news and business editor.
