Andy Stern
Founder and Senior Counsel
Andy Stern founded Sunwest in 1982. From 1975 to 1977, he served as Staff Assistant to President Gerald R. Ford at The White House and then served in senior corporate positions in Dallas.
He is a board member of AMN Healthcare Services (NYSE: AHS), the nation’s largest healthcare staffing company; Medical City Dallas Hospital, where he is a past chairman; and has served as chairman of the Texas Healthcare Trustees. He is currently serving as a member of the American Hospital Association’s Committee on Governance. Active in community affairs, Andy was the first public relations agency executive to become a member of the Dallas Citizens Council. Additionally, he is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, Dallas Assembly, Leadership Dallas Alumni, and Public Relations Society of America. He was founding chairman of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and chaired the Sixth Floor Museum, North Dallas Chamber and Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf.
