A passionate and loyal advocate for her clients, Leslie is perhaps best known for her ability to inspire dynamic storytelling and develop authentic relationships – a combination she consistently leverages to deliver quality media coverage and ensure authentic brand alignment.
Leslie held a variety of leadership roles at the American Heart Association (AHA), including Vice President, Corporate Marketing Communications, where she built and led cross-functional teams designed to create and execute national cause campaigns, support sponsors’ campaign activations and enhance mission impact. Campaign highlights include Go Red for Women, Know Diabetes by Heart, Kids Heart Challenge and AHA’s first-ever anti-vaping campaign, Quit Lying.
Over her decades of experience, Leslie has always placed a premium on people-first leadership and powerful partnerships. Her experience building transformational partnerships, coupled with an affinity for sports, media & entertainment, has sparked successful engagement opportunities with organizations and companies like ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC, Entertainment Tonight, iHeartMedia and Hearst Publications, as well as Warner Bros (How To Be Single) and TV Land (Hot in Cleveland).
In 2015, Leslie was named one of PR Week’s “40 Under 40” communications professionals. But her most valued roles are wife to her husband, Jared, and mother to her daughter, Kayden, son, Korben and their Boxer, Dutch. She is also very passionate about her beloved Alma Mater, Oklahoma State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Broadcasting.
