As the senior-most global communications executive for a $2B+ publicly-traded health and beauty enterprise, she oversaw a 48-market communications function with responsibility for strategy and execution across: corporate and product brand, corporate reputation, corporate social responsibility (CSR) communications, global social media strategy, executive and employee communications and worldwide sales support. Additionally, Kara managed the communications strategy for the company’s IPO and shepherded over 20 years of explosive growth and new market entry.
Her early agency experience provided Kara with a solid foundation in public relations and marketing, by way of award-winning campaigns for numerous luxury consumer brands, managing strategic partnerships, as well as hands-on crisis management with local, national, and international media.
