John Lane

Senior Videographer / Editor

John Lane is an Emmy winning photojournalist, videographer and editor with decades of experience in news and sports reporting, media relations and higher education. He served as the Assistant Director for Multimedia at the University of Texas at Arlington for three years and produced and published video presentations, social media content and external communications to highlight the work of faculty, staff and students.

John has 16 years of experience working as a Senior Photojournalist at WFAA-TV in Dallas, TX, covering national and international stories. He worked as a videographer for ABC News, NBC News, and Univision, to list a few. John attributes his success in the industry to his excellent communication, troubleshooting and organizational skills that equip him to deliver impactful stories. In addition to his Emmy, John has been honored by the National Press Photographers Association, Office of the Texas Governor – Barbara Jordan Media Award, Houston Press Club, Associated Press and the Dallas Press Club.
